Here you meet the ferryman Charon who never allows anyone to enter his barge without a fee. 	Cocytus Cocýtus is the river of death laments. It is a tributary of Acheron in Epirus from where it flows to the Underworld. When the wretched cry, Cocýtus swells receiving the tears in its bend. On the banks of Cocýtus the souls of the dead, who have not been probably buried, wander aimlessly for 100 years. 	Styx Styx is the main river of the Underworld being the river of horror and terror. It is muddy and its water is glacial. It leads into the very depths of Hades. This is the last river the dead souls cross in order to get to Hades.
