This is an rpg site. Role-play... if you didn't get that.
Bsically, the site is devoted to rp of the gods, godesses, heroes, titans, monsters and humans of the Ancient Greek and Roman myths, though other mythologies are embraced, albeit with a slightly odd look. Kidding. Any mythology is good. In diversity is true beauty and all that jazz.
Most of the site is rp only, except for the general section.
Um... running out of stuff to say... yeah...
Oh yeah! If you have any questions about mythology or whatever, pm me and ask. Or other questions. I may not know the answer, but I can find out.
And one last thing.
The site is set in the present day. If your character is wearing a toga, that's fine, but people will stare at them.
Enjoy.

Site Plot (such as it is)
There is no plot for the site which is set in stone, but I am assuming several premises:
- The basic site follows rules and assumptions of Greek and Roman myth. If all else fails, default to Greek. This is not to say that other gods and other mythologies are not embraced, but simply that they may need altering slightly to accommodate the boards, which currently are all obsessed with Greek myth.
- The humans in general are unaware of the continued existence of the gods. Specific characters can be aware of the fact, but as a whole, the great unwashed masses do NOT know that they're all larking around on Olympus.
- The titans are mostly still the baddies, the gods the goodies. Feel free to make your character an exception, but on the whole gods will/should be prejudiced against titans and vice versa.
- There are no other underworlds but the Greek ones (this may change).
- There are no fairies.
So the plot stands thus:
The gods were once all-powerful, ruling the lives of humans with their casual whims and receiving their due sacrifices and prayers to keep them so. But humanity has moved on. No longer do they offer up goats and bulls and their prayer to the old gods, who were neither good nor evil, simply the forces of nature incarnate. Humanity doesn't believe... but that doesn't mean they don't exist. Immortal, the gods, the titans... all of them... clung to their existence, hiding or mixing in or ruling in the new ways of money and technology, all unseen by the humans below. They have gained new power, new ways of control, and so they stay, ruling life from backstage or on high in Olympus. Humanity still dies, though, so one god still retains the power he always had- Hades. The Lord of the Dead has ever remained in his dark lair, his empire growing every moment. Of all the gods of Olympus, he has not had to change. He and his realm are all the more dangerous to the new and unsuperstitious humans of today.
So the world sits in fine balance- the immortals above and the humans below, and it could be that any difference could tip the scales and bring Chaos not just to Earth, but to all the realms.
